Arestin (minocycline HCl) is a local antibiotic that is delivered into pockets after a deep cleaning to stop the disease process. Numerous studies have shown that Arestin is a very effective drug when used properly. At Deluxe Dentistry, we believe the most effective way to combat periodontitis is mechanical plaque removal accomplished with deep cleaning in combination with a potent local antibiotic such as Arestin.
