Dental bridges at Deluxe Dentistry & Esthetics
A dental bridge replaces one or more missing teeth with a false tooth held by crowns on the neighboring teeth, by bonded wings or by dental implants. Deluxe Dentistry & Esthetics places all four types at both offices: traditional, cantilever, Maryland and implant-supported, and Dr. Maxim Godko, an 8-Time Top Doctor, places the implants himself when a bridge needs them. Your bridge is planned at a personalized consultation, backed by 800+ five-star reviews.

The most common bridge. Crowns on the teeth on either side of the gap hold a false tooth (a pontic) between them.

After a tooth is lost there are three ways to replace it, and all three are offered here. The American College of Prosthodontists explains how bridges work.

What a bridge does for you
The benefits of a dental bridge
When a tooth is missing, the teeth beside it can drift into the gap, throwing off your bite, and the jawbone starts to shrink where the tooth used to be. A bridge fills the gap with a fixed, natural-looking tooth.
A complete smile
The false tooth is shaded and shaped to match the teeth beside it, so the gap disappears.
Chew on both sides again
A fixed bridge spreads your bite evenly, so the teeth you have left aren’t overloaded.
Clearer speech
Front teeth help form many sounds. Filling the gap helps words come out the way you mean them.
Supports your lips and cheeks
Replacing missing teeth helps keep the natural shape of your face and smile.
The process
Getting a traditional bridge
- 1
Consultation
A personalized consultation to decide which type of bridge suits the gap and the teeth around it.
- 2
Healthy first
Any decay or gum disease is treated first, so the bridge is built on healthy teeth.
- 3
Prepare
The supporting teeth are numbed and shaped to hold the crowns of the bridge, precise impressions are taken, and the prepared teeth are protected while your bridge is made.
- 4
Fit & bond
The bridge is checked for fit and bite, then bonded in place.
Watch
Keeping a bridge clean
Cleaning under a bridge takes the right floss. A short tip from the Deluxe hygiene team.
Are you using the right floss?
Three types of floss, including what to use if you have a bridge or a fixed retainer.

One Office, Not Three
Replacing a missing tooth elsewhere can take an oral surgeon, an implant office and your own dentist. At Deluxe, it’s one office from start to finish.
The specialist referral loop
- An extraction at an oral surgeon’s office
- Implants placed at another office
- Back to your dentist for the bridge
- A consultation and new scans at each stop
At Deluxe Dentistry & Esthetics
- Extraction, implants and bridge in one office
- Implants placed by Dr. Godko himself
- One personalized consultation for bridge and implant options
- Every cost explained before treatment
Close the gap in one place, at either office.

FAQ
Dental bridges: your questions, answered
A fixed replacement for one or more missing teeth, also called a fixed partial denture. A false tooth, called a pontic, is held in the gap by crowns on the neighboring teeth or by dental implants, and it stays in; you don’t take it out.
All four: traditional, cantilever, Maryland and implant-supported bridges, at both offices.
One or more in a row. For a long gap, an implant-supported bridge carries the false teeth on implants instead of your natural teeth.
A traditional bridge usually costs less up front but means shaping the healthy teeth beside the gap. A titanium implant, the gold standard, with up to a 95% success rate, leaves those teeth alone and preserves the jawbone; a single implant is priced starting at $3,199, including the implant, the abutment and the crown. Dr. Godko places implants himself, so you can compare both options at one consultation.
No. A bridge is cemented or bonded in place and only a dentist can remove it. A partial denture is the removable option: it clips to your teeth and comes out for cleaning and at night.
The supporting teeth are numbed before they’re shaped, the same as for a crown. If you’re anxious, nitrous oxide, oral sedation or IV sedation is available, all given by Dr. Godko.
Your bridge is priced at your personalized consultation, based on its type and how many teeth it replaces, and the cost is in your treatment plan before any work begins. We accept PPO plans and most carriers, including CIGNA, MetLife, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Delta Dental and GEHA Connection Dental. No Medicaid, DMO or HMO plans accepted. We work with your insurance to ensure you receive the maximum benefit. 0% financing through Cherry and in-house membership plans are also available.
It depends most on the teeth and gums holding it. Brushing, cleaning under the false tooth every day and keeping your checkups protect the supporting teeth, and those checkups catch a small problem before it loosens the bridge.
Dr. Maxim Godko, an 8-Time Top Doctor, and his team. Bridges, implants, extractions and bone grafting are all provided in-house, so the whole case stays in one office instead of being referred out to a specialist.
