No months with gaps or a loose denture while the implants heal: you leave with a fixed arch and eat soft foods, speak and smile that evening. One surgical appointment instead of several means less time away from work and family.

Only the teeth in the arch being replaced, and only if they cannot be saved. Dr. Godko walks you through which teeth stay and which go at your consultation.

When the bone allows, yes: extractions and implant placement typically happen at the same visit. When your scan shows a bone graft, a sinus lift or ridge splitting has to heal first, Dr. Godko does it in-house and the implants go in at a later visit; you still walk out with your new teeth the day the implants go in.

Follow the instructions Dr. Godko gives you at your consultation; he coordinates with your physician when necessary. Wear comfortable clothes, and if you choose IV or oral sedation, arrange a ride home, since you cannot drive afterward. Plan a quiet day of rest afterward.

Not automatically. Teeth lost to advanced gum disease are often the very teeth a same-day arch replaces, and the infection is treated as part of your plan, in-house. Smoking and vaping slow healing, so tell Dr. Godko and he plans around it. He decides what is right for you at your consultation.

An All-on-X arch is fixed to implants, so it never slips, needs no adhesive and leaves the roof of your mouth uncovered, and the implants stand in for the tooth roots your jawbone has been missing, so it stops shrinking. A denture rests on the gums, loosens as the bone beneath it shrinks and comes out daily.

They solve different problems. A same-day All-on-X arch is fixed and never comes out at home; snap-on dentures clip onto implants and come out to clean. Dr. Godko places both and recommends what fits you.

Three to six months after surgery, once the implants have fused with the bone. Same day means you leave with a fixed arch of new teeth, not that the bone skips its healing; Dr. Godko sees you for healing check-ins along the way.

Some swelling and soreness are normal for the first few days; cold compresses, rest and soft foods help. You leave with aftercare instructions and a follow-up visit scheduled, and you are typically back to normal activities within a few days. Both offices are ready to immediately assist with any concerns.

You can eat and drink the same day: soft foods at first, such as soups, yogurt and mashed potatoes, then firmer foods as Dr. Godko clears them. He gives you the instructions before and after surgery. Hard, crunchy and chewy foods wait for your final arch.

Brush twice a day, rinse beneath the arch with a water flosser and use small interdental brushes around the implant posts. In-house periodontal maintenance keeps the gums around every implant healthy.
