Dental implant second opinion: your questions
Yes, before any major implant plan: extractions, grafting and full-arch work cannot be undone. Many patients discover better options through a second opinion, and at Deluxe Dentistry & Esthetics it is the same $1 dental implant consultation, with a comprehensive exam of all your teeth and a new 3D CT scan.
Yes. Sometimes the honest answer is a smaller plan: a tooth that can be kept with a root canal or gum treatment instead of being pulled for an implant, or fewer implants than the quote lists. Root canals, gum treatment and implants are all done at Deluxe, so Dr. Godko compares keeping the tooth with replacing it and tells you which he would do.
Yes. Dr. Godko’s 3D CT imaging, advanced bone grafting capabilities and experience with complex cases may reveal options that were not previously considered. He evaluates every patient individually and finds solutions for cases that other practices turn away.
If you had an All-on-4 or All-on-6 procedure and you’re unhappy with the result, consult with Dr. Godko to get the results you deserve. Dr. Godko will review your current implant placements and any issues with your current full arch implants. Depending on what the imaging shows, he can work with your existing implants or replace them.
Yes. Bone grafting, internal sinus lifts and ridge splitting are all done by Dr. Godko, with PRF used case by case together with grafting, in the same office that reviews your plan. They are typically done with local anesthesia, and sedation is available if you prefer it.
Yes. Bring your treatment plan or quote, any x-rays and what you were told. Dr. Godko reviews them, and a new 3D CT scan is taken at your visit either way.
No. If the plan you were given is sound, Dr. Godko says so, and you can go back and have it done there with more confidence. Nothing is scheduled until you decide.
Yes. No referral is needed. You can schedule the $1 consultation directly online or by calling either office.
Both offices are ready to immediately assist. Dental implant emergencies are treated in-house, including damaged implants and the teeth on them, at both offices.
Rarely by much. The plan review, the new 3D CT scan and your honest assessment happen at one visit, so you can decide quickly with both plans in front of you, and if you go ahead at Deluxe, scheduling starts from that plan.
