Why patients choose us

Out Today, by the Doctor Who Examined It. No Oral Surgeon Referral.

Many emergency pages promise fast help, then send the extraction itself to an oral surgeon: another consultation, another fee and another wait. At Deluxe Dentistry & Esthetics, Dr. Maxim Godko examines the tooth, removes it and gives your sedation himself, in the same visit.

Other offices claim 24 hours, but at 2 a.m. you reach an answering service that passes your message on in the morning. With us, leave a message any time: emergency messages are handled first when the office opens, and we call you first thing.

Extraction only when a filling, crown or root canal can’t restore the tooth.

The last resort

Saved if It Can Be, Removed if It Can’t

A natural tooth is worth keeping when it can be saved, so a filling, crown or root canal comes first whenever it will restore the tooth.

Decay below the gumline, a split root, an infection that won’t clear or a tooth too loose to support: those are the reasons a tooth comes out, and when one applies, it comes out the same day.

  • Digital x-rays before any decision
  • Root canals done in-house
  • Every option explained long term
  • Replacement planned before you leave

FAQ

Emergency tooth extraction in Lawrenceville, NJ: your questions, answered

Yes, if the tooth is beyond repair, and new patients are included. Call (609) 400-1393 or (609) 303-2005 and you’re seen the same day at 100 Federal City Rd, Suite 104B, in Lawrence Township, minutes from I-295, Saturdays included. Dr. Maxim Godko examines the tooth with digital x-rays, and when a filling, crown or root canal can’t restore it, he removes it at that visit.

Yes. The Lawrenceville, NJ office is open Monday 9 am–5:30 pm, Tuesday 9 am–5 pm, Wednesday 9:30 am–7 pm, Thursday 9 am–7 pm, Friday 9 am–5 pm and Saturday 9 am–2 pm, and dental emergencies are seen the same day.

The ER isn’t the place for an extraction. A hospital ER treats breathing problems, uncontrolled bleeding and serious facial injuries, but it doesn’t pull teeth, so you would be sent to a dentist afterward anyway. For a tooth that has to come out, call us first and come to Federal City Road.

Yes. A tooth broken at the gumline, or one that isn’t fully erupted, such as an impacted wisdom tooth, is removed with a surgical extraction, and Dr. Godko performs every simple and surgical extraction himself, in-house. Oral surgery is one of Deluxe Dentistry & Esthetics’ own service lines.

No. When the tooth can’t be saved, the exam, the digital x-rays and the extraction happen at the same visit: no second consultation and no wait for a surgery date. Every option and its cost is explained before anything is done.

The tooth is fully numbed with local anesthesia first, so you feel pressure, not sharp pain. Tell the team when you call: Dr. Godko offers nitrous oxide, oral sedation and IV sedation, in which you can still respond, is certified in all three and gives them in-house himself. With oral or IV sedation, someone drives you home.

It depends on whether the extraction is simple or surgical, on sedation and on whether a graft is placed, and you see the cost before anything is done. We accept PPO plans and most carriers, including CIGNA, MetLife, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Delta Dental and GEHA Connection Dental. No Medicaid, DMO or HMO plans accepted. We work with your insurance to ensure you receive the maximum benefit.

Yes. You see and approve the cost before anything is done. Our in-house membership plans discount treatment, and 0% financing through Cherry is available. Many patients qualify for 0% interest plans if paid on time.

Leave a message at either office any time: emergency messages are handled first when the office opens, and we call you first thing. Call 911 or go to the ER for trouble breathing or swallowing, swelling spreading toward the eye or neck, or bleeding that won’t stop with firm pressure.

Without traffic, about 11 minutes from Trenton, NJ by Route 31 and Federal City Road, and about 19 minutes from Hopewell, NJ or Yardville, NJ by I-295. With oral or IV sedation, plan for someone to drive you home.
