Dr. Maxim Godko performs root canal therapy in-house, so the diagnosis, the treatment, any sedation and your new crown all happen in the same office, with no referral. Endodontic practices typically treat the canals, then send you back to your own dentist for the crown; at Deluxe, saving the tooth and restoring it stay in one office.

Yes. Call (609) 303-2005 or (609) 400-1393: same-day emergency root canals are available at both offices. When the complete root canal has to wait for a later visit, a pulpotomy typically relieves the pain first.

Your exam uses digital x-rays, which show decay, cracks and infection at the root tip, and Dr. Godko tells you whether a root canal, with a post and core and a crown if needed, can save the tooth or whether it is better replaced. Saving your natural tooth comes first whenever it can be restored, and every option is explained before you decide.

Each treatment is priced at your personalized consultation, because the work differs: a molar has more canals than a front tooth, a tooth treated before needs retreatment, and a weak tooth needs a post and a crown. Without insurance, our in-house membership plans save 10–15% on additional dental services, or you can use 0% financing through Cherry.

Yes. Your treatment plan shows every step, the root canal, any post and core and the crown, and its cost before anything starts, and the decision is yours. We accept PPO plans and most carriers, including CIGNA, MetLife, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Delta Dental and GEHA Connection Dental. No Medicaid, DMO or HMO plans accepted. We work with your insurance to ensure you receive the maximum benefit.

Yes, the tooth is examined here. A tooth treated before can become reinfected through new decay, a crack or a leaking crown. Dr. Godko examines the tooth with x-rays and tells you whether retreatment, a new crown or an extraction fits. When retreatment alone isn’t enough and it is appropriate for your case, an apicoectomy (root-end surgery) removes the infected tip of the root and seals it to help save the tooth, typically with local anesthesia.

The tooth is fully numbed with local anesthesia before treatment begins, so most patients feel pressure rather than pain, and the pain that brought you in usually eases once the inflamed pulp is out. Nitrous oxide, oral sedation or IV sedation, in which you can still respond, is available too, all given by Dr. Godko himself, who holds current ACLS certification. See dental anxiety care.

Monday to Thursday, 9 am to 6 pm, and Friday, 9 am to 5 pm. Every procedure is also available at our Lawrenceville, NJ office, which adds evenings until 7 pm on Wednesdays and Thursdays, and Saturdays from 9 am to 2 pm.
